I am always happy when the TABA Parade of Homes rolls around. It’s inspiring to see the great work of some of our best builders in East Texas. I love art in all of its facets. And for me, building a house is a really creative endeavor. It’s literally like art to linger in.

Many of us are particularly excited about this year’s Parade of Homes, as Covid-19 resulted in many East Texans staying at home last June. Despite the pandemic, there were still more than 4,000 visitors along the parade route. That’s how we love it.
And I tell you, after we learn more about what to expect this year, there is much to inspire.

If you are thinking of building, remodeling, or just enjoying those gorgeous homes, this is a great way to get ideas on design and trending styles. Plus, it’s the perfect way to get to know some of our talented builders in East Texas.
From the TABA press release of June 1st:
Chairman Erin Wright said, “This year’s parade will provide a glimpse into the latest communities and showcase all of the latest trends in home design. Modern coastal farmhouse, new American farmhouse, transition French and modern European are just a few of the styles you will see this year. ”
I can not wait any longer. In fact, a few years ago I remodeled my house in a sort of transitional French-modern European style, and it was a Parade of Homes last year that inspired me.
